At our cottage in California, gardening wasn’t really an option. The environment was just too harsh and with the ever increasing drought, water was just too precious – and expensive. Now, that we live in the Mid Atlantic gardening is much easier and an amazing learning experience.
Where before our growing season was long and evenly productive, now we have a short but intense growing window. It is teaching us much about immediacy and the importance of timing and timeliness.
We will be trying new techniques. We may even dive into permaculture. The goal is to grow. Grow food. Grow love. Grow lives.
